Changing Your Heartprint

Once you are aware that your thoughts and actions are creating heartprints, it’s a small step forward to see that you also have the capacity to change the heartprints you are making, to shift from negative or neutral to positive. The impact may not always be immediate or apparent, but every heartprint counts.

A Few Things to Try

  1. Start with yourself. “Put on your own oxygen mask first.”
  2. Take a few minutes a day to say to yourself:
    • May I be kind to myself.
    • May I be peaceful.
    • May I be happy.
    • May I be free from suffering.
  3. What brings you joy?
    • Discover this and give yourself time to do it.
  4. Simplify. Your time is valuable.
  5. Smile at your own mistakes and forget the idea that you won’t make any.
  6. Let silence be your friend.
  7. Choose kindness toward everyone...whenever you can.
